International Education Resources
On June 12, we hosted a virtual session on, “Perspectives and Concerns of Parents: Decision Making in the Times of COVID-19“.
The panelists were our colleagues from the University of California-Berkeley, the University of Illinois at Chicago, University of British Columbia, the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, Flinders University from Australia, Erasmus University Rotterdam from the Netherlands, and Tufts University. We were also joined by six parents and two high school counselors from the Oberoi International School and the British School in New Delhi.
It was a good discussion and several themes emerged from it. I am happy to share the recording with you. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org for the link, if you are interested. Many parents and counselors have requested to read the FAQ document. If you have one prepared, please share it as an attachment or as a link. It will go out to all parents and counselors in our network.
As a follow-up, we are planning to host a panel discussion with high school counselors to share insights, feedback, and suggestions for higher education representatives. If you wish to add your name to attend this panel discussion as an attendee, please let me know. I will add you to the list.
In the next steps, we also hope to bring many such sessions and learning to our upcoming Collegey Virtual Conference between July 6 and July 8.
Please share your ideas and feedback.
